		<description>"Doing things properly" is an interesting notion I think, but one which causes people to limit themselves.  I'm beginning to think that anything can be fired (thick, wet, full of holes, whatever) as long as one is patient and takes time to fire slowly.  However -- "baked mud" -- don't diss the clay!  ;-)</description>

		<description>fascinated to read your article. I used to do lots of once fired raku, basicly 'cos I'm too lazy to do things 'properly' and never had any problems. My attitude is 'Clay is mud, pottery is baked mud - it doesn't need to be any more esoteric than that!</description>
